Dog-Friendly Business of the Year – Finalist!

We are thrilled to share with you all the news that we have been selected as FINALISTS in the “Dog-Friendly Business of the Year” category in the 22/23 Devon Tourism Awards! This means that we will be awarded with a Bronze, Silver, or Gold Award on the night of the awards ceremony in February.

Not only that but we have also been recognised as a ‘Commended’ business in the “Self-Catering Accommodation of the Year” category, too!

We are absolutely over the moon to have gained recognition in two categorys in what is a very competitive Awards scheme. Now in its 13th year of running, Devon Tourism Awards is part of the South West Tourism Awards, with categories covering a whole host of hospitality specialisms and strengths. Award finalists include businesses from across the spectrum of the very best of tourism in Devon and the South West; from cafes, pubs and days out, to self-catering, hotels, and B&Bs.

It is with great pride that we sit as part of the team of finalists in this year’s event and we look forward to meeting the organisers, businesses, and sponsors at the Awards Night on Thursday 2nd February at Home Park Stadium in Plymouth – it’s going to be a great night!

You might remember that back in 2020/21, we were awarded Silver in the “Dog-Friendly Business of the Year” category. We were delighted to receive this award in our first-ever year of entering the scheme. The 20/21 awards were slightly different due to the fact that COVID stopped play and meant that the Awards ceremony took place via Zoom. Whilst we were honoured to be part of the event, we must admit to being excited to attend a ‘real life’ awards night!

Thank you to all of the Sponsors and Partners who are supporting this year’s event, in particular, Hoeseasons for sponsoring the “Dog-Friendly Business of the Year” category and Mihi Digital who are sponsoring the “Self-Catering Business of the Year”.

We wait with great anticipation to hear the results on the night and we can’t wait to share our news with you!
