Maintenance Assistant 

Job Type: Full time, permanent, immediate start.

Salary: Up to: £24,735.60.

Location: Saunton Sands , North Devon.

The Company:

Consisting of over 3 miles of golden sands and backed by the expansive Braunton Burrows UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, Saunton Beach Enterprises exists to help all visitors to enjoy every second of their stay. With a varied site comprising of 26 holiday villas, a busy car park and seaside shop, every day is busy, different and rewarding. Situated between Braunton and Croyde, our stunning site offers breath-taking views across Bideford Bay and world-class surf, whilst our small, family-run team provides a professional, high-quality and friendly service. 

The Role: 

We’re seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Site Maintenance Assistant to work as a part of a small team ensuring the smooth operation of our site – this includes maintaining gardens, general repairs within the 26 Villas, decorating, replacement of broken items, delivery and collection of linen on change over days, emptying of all bins within the Villas and across the site. Car park maintenance and minor repairs within the Beach Shop.  

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Team will ensure all buildings, grounds and services are maintained effectively to maximise our visitors’ enjoyment of the site and ensure they receive a safe and pleasing service at all times. 

In addition to this, you help to cover our out-of-hours callout phone and liaise with visitors courteously and professionally, answering any questions and signposting information resources, as appropriate. 

The Person: 

With extensive experience of working within a small maintenance department,   Practical maintenance knowledge and skills are essential. 

Willing to work outside and be flexible with the daily tasks that are assigned to you.

Housekeeper

We’re looking for a seasonal Housekeeper to join our friendly team at Saunton Beach Villas.

Seasonal role until October 2026
Working days: Mondays and Fridays
Hours: 10am – 4pm

You will be helping prepare our holiday villas to a high standard ready for guest arrivals, working as part of a small and supportive team.

Public Facilities Attendant

Beach Facilities Attendant (Part-Time, Seasonal)

Seasonal role (8 month contract)
£15 per hour
2 days per week, 10am – 6pm

We are looking for a reliable Beach Facilities Attendant to help maintain our newly refurbished public facilities at Saunton Beach. This is a great role for someone who enjoys working outdoors in a beautiful coastal environment and takes pride in keeping visitor facilities clean, tidy and welcoming.

The role includes:

– Maintaining high standards of cleanliness within the public toilet facilities

– Litter picking around the car park and surrounding areas

– Emptying bins across the site as required

– Helping ensure the facilities remain clean and welcoming for visitors throughout the day

Saunton Beach is one of North Devon’s most popular beaches, and this role plays an important part in helping maintain a positive experience for everyone who visits. We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking and takes pride in their work.
