Sleeps 6 Beach Villas at Saunton
Our spacious, award-winning self-catering sleeps 6 Villas perfect for dog-friendly beach holidays in North Devon with family and friends. We have 2 types of 6 berth Villa; the ‘Dunes’ and the ‘Burrows’ – The Burrows are located on the bottom row nestled beside the sand dunes, and the Dunes Villas are located on the top row with views reaching across Braunton Burrows sand dune system. All Villas now boast ultrafast WiFi which is accessible free of charge to our guests.
Our newly refurnished 6 berth Villas boast a master bedroom with a King size bed and two twin rooms. Bed linen is provided and beds are dressed for your arrival. All bedrooms have either wardrobe or chest of drawers for storing clothing and belongings. Larger than our 4 berth Villas, yet just as cosy and relaxing, these are very popular with families or groups of friends as they afford more internal space.

Everything you need for your stay
The ‘Dunes’ 6 berth Villas, with their open plan kitchen and living space, are particularly popular with families as they offer a fantastic communal space for socialising. The Burrows Villas are favoured by guests looking for a quieter spot, particularly if they’re bringing reactive dogs, as their location beside the dunes is a bit more secluded. The Burrows 6 berths, with the exception of Burrows 12 which has more of an open plan layout, have separate living rooms and kitchens.
Villa kitchens are fully equipped for your stay with an oven, a 4 ring hob, a toaster, microwave, tall-standing fridge-freezer, and a full range of kitchen utensils. You’ll also find a Lavazza coffee machine for making barista style coffee – the perfect wake up! Each kitchen has a large dining table and 6 chairs. Burrows 10, 12 and 13 have a washer dryer. Burrows 11 and 14 have a dishwasher.
Living rooms are furnished with two comfortable 3-seater sofas, a coffee table, and a nest of side tables, giving them a home-from-home feel. Throws are provided for the sofas, should your canine companion enjoy a cuddle whilst you watch TV! The 43inch smart TVs are loaded with a range of apps including Netflix, Spotify, and Amazon Prime, to keep the whole family entertained.
The family bathrooms have a bath with an overhead shower, with the exception of Burrows 14 in which we have recently installed a walk-in shower. All Sleeps 6 Villas have a separate WC to saves queues whilst the shower is in use!
Each Villa has its own enclosed garden with a picnic bench for your family and dogs to enjoy. The outdoor showers are a practical addition to the Villa gardens, allowing you to wash sandy paws, wellies and wetsuits after a long day on the beach! All gardens are enclosed with a wooden fence with a latched gate.
A dog-friendly site
All of our Villas are dog-friendly and Saunton Sands Beach is dog-friendly all year round. We do not have a dog limit, nor do we impose any restrictions on breed or size. If you’re bringing more than 4 dogs, we ask that you get in touch to discuss space requirements so that we can recommend a suitable Villa. If your dog would benefit from a quieter spot, please let us know and we will be happy to advise.
Booking extras
Dog crates (M or L), waterproof bedding, cots, highchairs, fans and irons/ironing boards are all available as free of charge – please select your extras at the time of booking.
Parking
Dunes 3, 4, and 5 have one dedicated parking space in the small car park beside Dunes 3.
Dunes 6, 7 and 8 have one allocated parking space in the area in front of 9 the Burrows (please note that there is a steep hill from these Dunes Villas to the parking area).
Burrows 10, 11 & 12 have one allocated parking space in the parking area opposite Burrows 9.
Burrows 13 & 14, Dunes 10 & 11 have a dedicated space near 14 the Burrows at the end of the lane.
Additional cars may be parked in the main car park (max 1 car per bedroom).
