Woody Bay, Lynton

This sheltered shingle beach sits 3 miles west of Lynton, at the foot of steep cliffs and ancient woodland. A steep 500 metre access path zigzags from the carpark at the top of the cliff, and leads you through the woods and onto a small rocky pebble and shingle beach. Dogs are permitted on the beach during all seasons. Woody Bay is a favourite for dog walkers, ramblers, photographers and wildlife enthusiasts. Dogs allowed all year round.
