Braunton Accessible Bungalow Honoured as Finalist in Devon Tourism Awards for Accessibility

We are proud to share the exciting news that Braunton Accessible Bungalow has been selected as a finalist in the Accessible and Inclusive category of the esteemed Devon Tourism Awards 2024/25. This recognition underscores our commitment to providing inclusive accommodations for all our guests.

Situated in the heart of Braunton, our bungalow has been thoughtfully designed with accessibility in mind. With features such as a new profiling bed, ceiling hoist, accessible bathrooms, and wheelchair-friendly access, we strive to create a welcoming environment for everyone who stays with us.

“We are incredibly honoured to be recognised as a finalist in the Accessible and Inclusive category,” said our spokesperson. “This award reflects our dedication to ensuring that we can provide quality accommodation to all guests, and we look forward to celebrating this achievement with the other finalists at the awards ceremony.”

After months of anticipation, we eagerly await the ceremony to discover if we will receive a bronze, silver, or gold award. This recognition not only highlights our hard work but also inspires us to continue promoting accessibility within the tourism sector, both locally and on a wider scale.

We’re looking forward to Awards night at the Crowne Plaza Plymouth, where we will celebrate excellence and innovation in Devon’s tourism industry. If you hadn’t already heard, the Beach Villas have also been named as finalists in the Dog-Friendly category, so we’ll be walking away with not one but two trophies on the night!
